Terms Of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Saseum Services ("we", "us") and the business that holds a Saseum account (the "customer"), and they also apply to every person the customer invites to use it (a "user"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using Saseum, you agree to them. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
Where a customer has signed a separate order form or agreement with us, that document governs where it differs from these terms.
The Service
Saseum is software for restaurant groups: ordering from vendors, tracking deliveries and invoices, messaging staff and suppliers, scheduling, payroll, hiring, and Claire, an AI assistant that works across them. We may improve and change features over time, and we will give account owners notice before removing a feature they rely on.
Accounts
- Users must be at least 18, or the minimum working age where the customer employs them and the customer has invited them.
- Keep your sign-in codes private and tell us at once if you suspect someone else has used your account.
- The customer decides who has access and what each role can do, and is responsible for what its users do in Saseum.
Your Data
The customer owns the information it and its users put into Saseum ("customer data"). The customer gives us permission to host, process and transmit customer data only to provide, secure and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The customer is responsible for having the right to provide customer data to us, including any notices to and consents from its employees, applicants, vendors and other people whose information it adds, and for the accuracy of what it enters.
Messages, Calls And Orders Sent For You
Saseum sends purchase orders, emails, text messages and phone calls to vendors and others in the customer's name when a user, or Claire acting on a user's request, sends them. The customer is responsible for their content and for following the laws that apply to them, including rules on consent for text messages and recorded calls. Calls placed through Saseum announce that they are recorded.
Orders and purchases are agreements between the customer and its vendors or retailers. We are not a party to them and are not responsible for a vendor's prices, deliveries or products.
Claire And AI Features
Claire and other AI features can make mistakes, misread a document, or misunderstand a request. Review what they prepare before relying on it, and confirm orders, messages and payments before they go out. The customer remains responsible for decisions and actions taken with their help.
Payroll And Payments
Saseum calculates pay and prepares payslips from the information the customer provides, and can send direct deposits through our banking provider, Increase, and its partner banks, under their terms. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of hours, rates and withholding, for approving each pay run, for tax filings and payments, and for following wage and hour laws. We provide software and do not give legal, tax or accounting advice.
A payment that has been sent to a bank cannot always be recalled. Review totals before approving them.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Saseum lawfully and to keep these out of it:
- messages that are unsolicited, deceptive, harassing or unlawful;
- content that infringes someone else's rights;
- attempts to access accounts or data you are not authorized to use, or to probe, overload or disrupt the service;
- copying, reselling or reverse engineering the service, except as the law allows.
Fees
Fees are set in the customer's plan or order form. Unless that says otherwise, they are billed monthly in advance by ACH debit from the bank account the customer authorizes, and they are non-refundable except where the law requires. Fees exclude taxes, which the customer pays. We may change fees with at least 30 days' notice to the account owner.
Third-party Services
Saseum connects to services such as email and text providers, banks, maps and retailers. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Suspension And Ending
The customer may stop using Saseum at any time. We may suspend access to protect the service or other people, or for unpaid fees, and will tell the account owner why. Either side may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once if the other materially breaches it. For 30 days after it ends, the customer may ask us for an export of its customer data, after which we will delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Saseum is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation Of Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees the customer paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to a customer's payment obligations or to either side's liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Indemnity
The customer will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from customer data, from messages, orders and payments it sends through Saseum, or from its breach of these terms.
Law And Disputes
The laws of the State of California govern these terms, without regard to conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both sides consent to them.
Changes And Contact
We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top, and for a material change we will tell account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that means acceptance. Notices and questions go to help@getsaseum.com.
